Another Other: A dance of two people
Inspired by the psychoanalytic setting and the concept of mimetic desire,
“Another Other” is a meditation on the nature of human companionship.
A choreographic collaboration between Peter Dobey, Hannah Buckley and Jessamin Landamore, the performance is comprised of eight chapters and will take place over the span of four hours, with a new chapter beginning every half hour. Audience members are encouraged to arrive at the beginning of any chapter, and to stay as long as desired.
The performance will take place from 4 to 8pm on Sunday, the 30th of October, 2011 at Krowswork gallery. It is free and open to the public.
